The facility also has common areas, lounges, and transportation services available to enhance your quality of life in a carefree environment. Dining, in a beautifully decorated dining room, will be a time to enjoy good food and the company of your neighbors. Nutritious meals are prepared in our own kitchen. Who can live in Prairie View Village?

People like you. People who have worked hard all their lives, who have planned for their retirement and who want the very best in life. People who wish to be set free from some of the problems of home responsibilities, maintenance and cleaning; people who don't want to live alone; to be free from the fear of accident or health problems that require prompt attention. Prairie View Village provides comfortable, secure, and fulfilling retirement living. The facility welcomes persons who are 55 years and older. Prairie View Village is an assisted living community for persons of retirement age, who are ambulatory and in good physical and mental health. A referral to assisted living must be made by the primary care provider. And if a vacation is in order, provisions for the reduction of rent can be made when you are away for 5 or more days. Your unit is secure in your absence. This is your independent living unit and staff are available to meet your needs as you may require them.

Assisted Living Services

Three nutritious meals are served in our beautiful dining room and prepared in our own kitchen. Snacks available at all times.
Social and leisure activities are planned to suite our tenants needs. Exercise, movies, cooking, music games, church, cards and crafts are routine.
All utilities and basic cable are provided. Telephone is not provided, although each unit is prewired.
Laundry service for bedding and towels will be done weekly, and personal laundry facilities are available.
Housekeeping services are done weekly in each unit.
Small refrigerator and microwave ovens are in each unit.
Emergency call cords are monitored 24 hours a day and are located in the bedroom and bathroom.
A handicap accessible van is available for trips or outings.
Each unit has its own individually controlled heating/cooling unit.
Units are designed to meet the special needs of the mature resident, including the disabled and physically challenged individual.
Three levels of care are offered:
- Basic -- no additional supervision required
- Level I -- one service, i.e. bathing or medication pass
- Level II -- two or more services, i.e. bathing and medication pass
- We also accept Medicaid
This is a "home" environment with your own furnishings
Private pay, long-term care insurance, and Medicaid are accepted.
